Simple Present Tense
I – Supply the
Simple Present Tense:
1. Dogs bark. (bark)
2. He works (work) near his house.
3. Hurry up! The bus leaves (leave) in 5 minutes.
4. Nancy gets (get) up early.
5. She brushes (brush) her teeth in the morning.
6. Roger usually fixes (fix) the TV.
II – Turn into
negative form:
1. We tell them about our plans.
We don’t tell them about our
plans.
2. He eats lunch in the break.
He doesn’t eat lunch in the
break.
3. You play tennis very well.
You don’t play tennis very well.
4. That child likes ice-cream.
That child doesn’t like ice-cream.
III – Rewrite the
sentences into interrogative form.
1. Do we tell them about our plans?
2. Does he eat lunch in the break?
3. Do you play tennis very well?
4. Does that child like ice-cream?
